Despite today being a holiday, the service and food was on point as always. They have cute stuff in their store area of the restaurant, by the entrance. We both were quite pleased with the chocolate crepe for dessert too.Īt checkout, I ended up buying a glittery, pink Sweetie Pie's tshirt. He got mac and cheese with steak fries as his sides. Hubby and I both ordered the chicken tenders, I got the texas wedges and broccoli salad for my sides. Our food was delicious as always, nothing tops those starter rolls fresh from the oven. Her attitude was above and beyond amazing!!
She made sure everything was perfect, went over the dessert menu thoroughly and even did a magic trick for our little. Y'all! If you read this review and end up visiting Decatur location, ask for Sabrina if she's working.
Today we had the pleasure of being served by Sabrina. An abundance of details from a regular customer, just in case you're looking for specifics.Īndddddd yet ANOTHER wonderful family meal for the win! We absolutely love Sweetie Pie's in Decatur. Instead the special was bacon grits but kiddo decided to try the broccoli soup since she was in the mood for broccoli. The broccoli salad wasn't available today. The bacon used for my BLT was fried crunchy and not all curled up either. I particularly enjoy how they're salted on top and there's four wedges which makes the perfect portion. I ordered the BLT with those delicious texas wedge potatoes. I didn't take a picture because it was gone before I had a chance. It had such a great flavor! It wasn't over-seasoned, tasted like it had a simple salt/pepper rub as we like. Husband ordered the 4 oz filet mignon cooked medium rare. Monique was so easy going, can't rave on her enough. I wasn't quite able to finish my meal when baby started fussing so we ended up getting the rest to go including my tea. However, Monique gave us the pleasure of being our lovely waitress! She was amazing, very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. So we asked for Sabrina but she doesn't work here anymore. People have asked me if I work here because I wear my Sweetie Pie's shirt around town. Our last visit was right before I gave birth, LOL.

We always find a reason to drive up to Sweetie Pie's Decatur! Husband has been away for work all week so we decided this visit was for a nice family sit down, plus we hadn't introduced our newborn to their establishment yet.
